Founder & Creator

Two2Tango Shoes was created by passionate Tanguera, Sophia Azoubel, who was tired of aching, tired and blistered feet after each milonga. She located a talented artisan in Mexico who hand-crafted incredibly comfortable tango heels at a reasonable price. She knew she had something special and wanted to share these shoes with other passionate dancers. Although these dance shoes have tango in mind, they work well for many other dance genres such as Latin and Ballroom.

Made by hand in North America

• Our shoe artisan William Vargas makes each pair of shoes by hand in the Yucatan peninsula. His unique skill and attention to detail make our dance shoes authentic, unique, and incredibly comfortable.

• Detailed workmanship and quality materials along with hard work is the trademark of Two2Tango shoes. Our goals is make honest quality products at affordable price, while also paying a good honest wages to our artist.

• Eco-friendly satin uppers;

• Memory foam on the insoles for superb comfort;

• Outsole is either leather or suede.
